This past week my husband and I celebrated our bdays (our bdays are 2 days apart).  So I asked him what kind of cake he wanted and told him it didn’t have to be all decorated but could be just fancy in flavor   So he picked chocolate cake with cherry pie filling.  I then added on the chocolate ganache for my part of it.  Chocolate ganache is TO DIE FOR!   Basically just chocolate and heavy whipping cream.  How can that be bad?  I also dipped a few marachino cherries for on top.

I can’t wait to dig into this tonight!
