Ahhh…that’s refreshing!

This cake was made to celebrate the birthday of my mom’s coworker.  He likes beer from what I’m told :)   So here is a big mug of … cake :)   And no – it doesn’t taste like beer ;-)   This cake is about 6″ in diameter and 8-9″ tall with a gumpaste handle.  Cheers!

    Hey Stephanie, how did you make the “foam” on the beer? It looks like partially melted mini marshmallows but I’m sure that’s not what you’ve used. Love this!! I might attempt it for my brother’s birthday in June.

    Love the beer stein cake, that’s fantastic. I have a passion for making cakes as well and can tell from your lovely cakes that you really enjoy doing it, right down to the intricate details that make a cake so special for someone.
