Dots & Bows

Well here is February’s birthday cake.  It didn’t need to be this big but I wanted to do this style.  My plan was just two tiers (the bottom two) but I had extra batter so I made a 4″ and threw that on too.  It completes the look I think :)   This cake was inspired by one I ran across online.  Had some things I had wanted to try and I loved the look.  Plus I had short notice to plan it so I couldn’t do anything to labor intensive.  I did this one fondant for my ease ;-) and the bow is fondant as well.

    Hi Steph,

    I was the one in Dave’s office that had the February birthday. The cake was absolutely beautiful! I loved the chocolate chip cake…totally delicious! Thank you so much for everything that you do for us!!!!!
